Day trip to Brighton

The weather has been fantastic for the last few days and today I decided to go to Brighton for the day. My train left at 10:34 and I arrived in Brighton at 11:28. It’s amazing to live less than an hour away from the seaside. During the train journey I fed Max his lunch and milk and very soon we arrived at Brighton Station.

I met two of my friends for lunch at Sushimania in Middle Street and I ordered yellowtail and tuna sashimi, beef and tuna tataki and some edamame. It was delicious and Max tried some cucumber maki. After lunch I walked around Brighton and enjoyed the sunshine. Max fell asleep and I could sit at Starbucks, try their new Red Berry Yoghurt Frappuchino and charge my phone. I often go to the Starbucks on the corner on Jubilee Street and North Road. Max slept for two hours and after he woke up we went to the Royal Pavilion Gardens. Unexpectedly it started to rain and we explored the shops on Ship Street. A short trip to Jojo Maman Bebe and a purchase later we met some other friends for coffee and a walk around Brighton Pier before heading back to Brighton Station to take the train home.

I really want to go to Brighton! I've been once when I was small but never when I could remember!

Charlotte, you should go there. It is such a beautiful place. I spend a lot of time there all year around.
