Review: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Part II

View from the Terrace Suite
In the first part of this review I wrote about my bad experience in my booked room 2111 and getting a new room. You can read the first part of my review here. This is a long post and please apologise for the bad photographs. I lost my digital camera and my iPhone 5S doesn’t take the greatest pictures.
The hotel management sorted out another room for me within the hour as promised and my keys were activated for room 5333. I had to take the elevator down to the Lobby and another one up to the 53rd floor. The key instantly worked for the new room and I opened the door to suite 5333. What I didn’t know was that the hotel management actually upgraded me from a one bedroom suite to a terrace suite. The Terrace Suite is a lot larger than the one bedroom suite and as disappointed as I was when I entered my first room as positively surprised was I when I explored the new suite. There is a mirrored hallway when you enter leading to a great kitchen with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, microwave and stove. Just next to it is a dining area. The kitchen is open-space and leads to a sitting area – a comfortable sofa and an armchair. There is also a desk with the most comfortable desk chair ever. My friend joked that he wanted to take it home with him.

The living area (Not  the greatest picture)

Telescoping doors are separating the living area from the bedroom and the master bathroom. The bedroom is a dream. The interior design is divine, the bed is incredible comfortable and there is nothing better than enjoying the view of the Strip at night from the bedroom. There are two sliding doors to the balcony, one from the bedroom and the other one from the living area. The wardrobe is spacious and offers enough space for longer stays.

The bedroom
The left picture above shows the guest bedroom while the right one is the Master bedroom. The toilette is separated from the bathroom. Last but not least I would like to share the view at night from the balcony again. It was wonderful and I actually had a party one night in the suite with my friends who were staying in Las Vegas at the same time as me.
While I started off on the wrong foot at the Cosmopolitan, they sorted the problem out and made up for it. Sarah Wagner phoned me a few times afterwards and made sure I was fine. This was excellent service from her side and I can’t thank her enough for it. Not only her, but the whole staff at the Cosmopolitan provided outstanding service and I can not wait to return next summer. My next Las Vegas trip is already planned (20th of June until the 5th of July 2015) and I am planning to stay at least four to five nights at the Cosmopolitan again.

Finally a video from the Terrace Suite and the floor plan at the end.
