Last Saturday I stayed at the Roomers hotel in Frankfurt and my overall experience has been nothing but fantastic.
Roomers is a trendy five star hotel and only a five minute walk from Frankfurt Central Station. There is no need to take a taxi unless you have a lot of luggage. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly member of staff and offered a welcome drink. It is either a glass of water (boring), orange juice or a glass of champagne. Of course I went for the bubbles. The check-in was straightforward, the receptionist was great and told me everything I needed to know about the hotel, the restaurant, the bars and the surrounding area. I had booked a Superior Room over Booking.com and a weekend night costs 150€.
The rooms are 24m² large with views either over Frankfurt’s skyline or the open-air patio. My room overlooked the patio and it was very quiet. The room features a queen size bed with an incredible comfortable mattress and my room had a open bathroom area with a bathtub and a separate toilet. Inside the room is also a mini bar and the prices are very reasonable for a five star hotel. Every room has a flat screen and an iPad docking station, as well as complimentary wi-fi.
The hotel focuses a lot on attention to detail, but while the overall housekeeping was fine, the housekeeping left out little but for me important details: limescale on the shower head and the tabs. The mirrors could have been cleaned better too. But this is just a little minus and didn’t ruin the all in all fantastic experience of a fantastic hotel.
