London is calling!

Tomorrow I am off to London and I am so excited. I haven’t been in London for two months and it feels like an eternity. Before waking up in London was kind of normal, but now that I don’t live in London anymore, I am sure I will appreciate it a lot more when I am there. I will stay at the new Tune Hotel in Liverpool Street, it’s a great hotel chain from Asia and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. It’s great for budget travelers who don’t want to miss out on all the comfort and amenities of an expensive hotel. If you know me and have read my blog for a while, you will know I am addicted to five star hotels and I consider 4 Star hotels only for emergencies. So I am looking forward to see if the concept of Tune can win me over.

I am flying to London with Germanwings and I am looking forward to fly again. I was asked if I am a bit worried to fly with the airline after 24.03.15, but I am genuinely not. Car accidents happen every day and people continue driving. I love flying and it’s great to get away, after all I am not going to Las Vegas this summer and also the rest of the year is not as exciting in the travel department as the last years were.

My Chromebook broke two days ago and I still can’t believe it has happened. I was very attached to it and I know it sounds stupid, but it was perfect for blogging, Twitter and all other social networks I frequently use. A blogger without a notebook? How am I supposed to tell you all about my weekend in London? My lovely friend Kim was very kind to give me her MacBook Air for the weekend so that I can blog a  little bit when I am in London and I am so glad she did. I have used Macbooks before, but I never really liked them very much. For a strange reason I am starting to get incredibly fond of her’s now. Not sure if she gets it back.

So, I am off to start packing my suitcase. London is where my heart is and where I feel at home the most. It’s the place where I had my highest highs and my lowest lows. One day I will be back, that’s for sure.
